KLAUSOVÁ, Klára
This thesis assesses the mutual expectations of nurses and students majoring in Generel nurse in practical training in selected hospital departments. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze what are the mutual expectations of nurses and nursing students in practical teaching in selected hospital departments. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part covers history of education of nurses, current study conditions in nursing, competencies of General Nurses, practical training, mentoring and the specifics of nursing care in selected hospital departments. In the empirical part, a quantitative research survey was used. The survey was performed using two types of questionnaires. First type was distributed to nurses in the surgical, internal medicine and psychiatric wards. The second type was distributed to second and third-year students of nursing school. Six hypotheses were formulated: H1: The nurse expectations are influenced by the level of nurse's education. H2: The nursing student expectations are influenced by the level of nurse's education. H3: The nursing student expectations are influenced by the specifics of the selected department. H4: The nurse expectations are influenced by nurse's tenure in the selected department. H5: The nursing student expectations are influenced by the level of student's education. H6: The nurse expectations are influenced by the level of student's education. The results show that the nurse expectations is influenced by the level of nurse's education (H1) and also by the student's previous education (H6). The nursing student expectations are influenced by the specifics of the selected department (H3). It was also found that the nursing student expectations are not affected by the education of nurses (H2) or the student's previous education (H5). The results of the work can be used by nursing students before starting practical training as well as by nurses as feedback.

Dental hygienist as a teaching staff
Radonská, Denisa ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Syřiště, Ivo (referee)
Dental hygiene is a modern, fast-growing field, so it is very important to ensure proper teaching. As dental hygienists care and participate actively in patient health, they should receive the best possible instruction so that they can pass on and use their knowledge. High-quality teaching is a necessity, unfortunately sometimes the appropriate level of teaching is not ensured for various reasons. The bachelor thesis deals with these questions - what is the level of teaching? Where are the shortcomings? How do students, graduates and representatives of fields evaluate the teaching? In the practical part I use the questionnaires and interviews to identify shortcomings and problems in teaching, summarize the findings and then propose solutions to how the level of vocational training for dental hygienists could be improved, how to ensure a more qualified knowledge transfer. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the teaching of vocational subjects and practical teaching of dental hygiene, to find out the satisfaction of students and to propose changes in the teaching of vocational subjects and practical training.
Využití vybraných přírodních objektů území ŠLP Masarykův les Křtiny pro účely praktické výuky
Walsbergerová, Tereza
Presented Bachelor thesis deals with proposal of four educational routes on area of ŠLP Masarykův les Křtiny. Within each educational route, the parameters of individual routes and the characteristics of individual objects were processed, which were selected as suitable objects for practical education. Furthermore, own photographic documentation was prepared for each object. In this thesis were also processed specific professional impacts and proposal of a short test for knowledge verification. One chosen route was also processed in graphical design suitable for potencial use of these routes in a form of a short brochure. Thesis is also concerning a potencial of ŠLP Masarykův les Křtiny for use in practical education focusing on natural sciences.
Terrestrial Isopods as Model Soil-forming Agents in Practical School Education
Korbélyi, Tereza ; Mourek, Jan (advisor) ; Nodžáková, Kateřina (referee)
- 2 - Abstract Woodlice (Isopoda) belong to major soil decompositors of plant material and at the same time easily collectible. These organisms are therefore suitable for integration into practical school lessons. The aim of this thesis is therefore to design inquiry-based education using Isopoda as an example of soil decompositors. The first part of this thesis is focused on the theoretical introduction to inquiry- based education. It is also devoted to describe woodlice (Isopoda), explain their morphology, life cycle and cover the most common species of Isopoda occurring in the Czech Republic. A simplified determination key for these most common species is included. The second part of the thesis includes complete instructions on how to use these organisms in practical teaching with elements of inquiry-based education. The manual contains techniques for collecting and storing woodlice. The manual also contains instructions to individual experiments, including the list of needed tools and advice, where to obtain the tools and other didactic materials. The third part of the thesis has a research character, where, based on a questionnaire survey, students' attitudes towards woodlice (Isopoda) and their knowledge shift before and after the practical lesson are evaluated. Keywords Isopoda, inquiry-based...
Dissections used as a teaching method in biological education on secondary schools - attitudes of pupils and teachers
Pfeifferová, Andrea ; Mourek, Jan (advisor) ; Janštová, Vanda (referee)
This diploma thesis investigates attitudes of students and teachers of secondary schools (gymnasia) towards the use of dissections into educational process. Questionnaire survey is a part of the research, by which opinions about animal dissections are examined in terms of a particular interest in dissections, of general interest in natural sciences, disgust towards the peculiar facts and situations taking place during dissections and finally in terms of ethical standpoint of all respondents. Statistic processing of results examined relations between all presented aspects and between gender, age, school grade and targeting of studies, experience with dissections and interest of all teachers themselves. At the beginning of the inquiry the following research questions were stated: 1. Are attitudes of students towards dissections during the lessons of biology different between genders? 2. Are those attitudes affected by factors such as subject preference, targeted field of study, own experience with dissections, favoured method of teaching anatomy or owning a pet? 3. Do mutual correlations between the attitude of a student and a particular teacher exist? 4. Are standpoints of teachers towards dissections during the lessons of biology influenced by various factors such as implementation into educational...

Evaluation of High School practical courses
Chudomelová, Iva ; Drda Morávková, Alena (advisor) ; Janštová, Vanda (referee)
Science courses, as biology, chemistry and physics, constitute significant real subjects it is necessary to rely mainly on experiments and observations. In other words, the practical training is the hallmark of science. Practical training has a positive effect on increasing the attractiveness of individual objects, but in meaning of cognitive function is still debated its merits. What stand the laboratory work for the teachers, as a mediator of the teaching process? Research shows that the practical training teachers perceived positively mainly because of the perfect linking theory with practice, the lower the number of pupils and their proactive approach in teaching. Negatively seems time consuming, consisting mainly of fetch and training material. Keywords: biology education and science courses, lab courses, school laboratory, time allocated to science practices
